Privacy on exam.theomnikit.com
This online test site has no login and no account. Your answers, your exact score and a test in progress stay in this browser's storage on your device. We receive anonymous counts: page views, papers and unit practice sets started and finished with a score band, the time a paper took, and printed scorecards. Every field is listed below.
Your answers and exact score stay in this browser. We count page views, papers started and submitted (with a score band and the time used), unit practice sets and the Daily 10 opened and finished (with a score band), printed scorecards, papers that failed to load and the speed of the page you landed on; the privacy page lists every field.
Kept in your browser
- A test in progress: your chosen options, the questions marked for review, the question you were on, the time the test ends, and how many times you left the test page.
- Your results: the options you chose, your score and the time you used, so the result page and the paper list can show them.
- Your unit practice progress: for each unit, the set your next visit opens, your last score in each set you took and the set in progress; and your practice streak (the last day you finished a set and how many days in a row).
- Your Daily 10: the day's questions, your answers and the one you were on, and your score once you finish; and your daily streak (the last day, India time, you finished the Daily 10 and how many days in a row).
They are stored in this browser's local storage, on this device only, under names starting with omnikit-exam: (omnikit-exam:run:, omnikit-exam:result:, omnikit-exam:practice:, omnikit-exam:streak:, omnikit-exam:daily: and omnikit-exam:daily-streak:, followed by the exam and, where there is one, the paper or unit). Nobody else can see them, including us. They stay until you remove them: "Clear my data" below (which also removes the visit note and the random visitor number), or clearing this site's data in your browser.
Four small notes shared with the Omnikit tools site also live in local storage: your cookie choice (omnikit:consent); the visit note (omnikit:visits) and the random visitor number (omnikit:visitor), kept only as your choice allows (see below); and omnikit:notme, written only if you open a page with ?notme=1 at the end of the address, after which this browser sends no analytics events at all (?notme=0 undoes it).
Nothing of yours is saved in this browser.

Anonymous counts of visits, started and submitted papers (with a score band), unit practice sets and printed scorecards, with the same analytics and the same rules as the Omnikit tools site. Exactly these fields:
- with each page view: which page; the page on this site you came from; the site that linked to it (its name only); any campaign tag in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign); how the page was opened (a link, a reload, Back or Forward); the device type (phone, tablet or desktop); light or dark mode; and the browser's language;
- that a paper was started; that it was submitted, with the score's band in percent (for example 60-79), the time used, and whether the clock submitted it; that a scorecard was printed; that a unit practice set was opened (which unit) and finished, with the score's band in percent; that the day's Daily 10 was opened and finished, with the score's band in percent; and that a paper's questions could not be loaded (which paper page, nothing else);
- how fast the page you landed on loaded and responded: three speed measurements (LCP, CLS and INP, the Core Web Vitals) as numbers, with that page's name, measured by your browser after the page has loaded and never by crawlers or test tools;
- added by our server to each of these: the country your connection comes from (as Cloudflare reports it), your browser's name and main version, and a hash of your connection whose key changes every day, used only to count people per day.
- Error reports: if the page fails, the error message, the script and line where it happened, and the page address (never your answers). They go to our server logs with the same random tab id.
- Server logs: like every web server, ours notes each request: the time, the address on this site, the answer it gave, your browser's name and version as it reports them, and the page that linked to it. The web server's log has no IP address; the log of the counting and error requests keeps only a hashed version of it whose key changes every day, so it cannot be turned back into the address. Logs are deleted after 30 days.
Never sent: your answers, your exact score, any question text, or anything that names you. A random tab id lives in session storage and ends with the tab.
A page view may also carry visit details: whether you are a new or returning visitor; how many different days this browser has visited, as a band (1, 2-3, 4-10 or 11+); how long since its previous visit day, as a band (the same day, 1 day, 2-7 days, 8-30 days or 31 days or more; not sent on a first visit); a random visitor number kept in your browser; and, while it is switched on, the city and region worked out from your connection. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are kept only if you accept; elsewhere unless you decline. The Omnikit privacy policy explains them in full. You can change your choice here:
