What our practice copies

For MH-SET practice we reuse our 8 UGC NET Paper 1 practice papers: the same questions as on our UGC NET Paper 1 pages. Each has 50 questions with 4 options and one correct answer, 2 marks each, 100 in all, with no negative marking, the same figures as MH-SET Paper I in the table above.

The clock is 60 minutes, the same one hour the real Paper I is given (10:00 to 11:00), and the test submits itself when the time is up.

What it does not copy

The answer sheet. The real MH-SET is OMR based: you mark each answer with a pen on an OMR sheet, in a booklet with one of four codes (A to D). This practice is on screen, one question at a time with a question palette, so it trains you on the questions and the clock, not on filling an OMR sheet.

The questions and the syllabus. Every question is our own, written for our UGC NET Paper 1 practice papers; no MH-SET question is reproduced. We have not yet checked the MH-SET Paper I syllabus against the UGC NET Paper 1 syllabus our papers follow, so we make no claim that they match. Check the official syllabus with SPPU before you rely on this practice.

The language and the result. Our practice papers are in English and Marathi; you can switch at any time during the test. Your score is our marking of our own questions; it says nothing official about an MH-SET result.
