How the mock tests work
Pick a paper and press Begin: a 60-minute clock counts down and the test submits itself at zero. Answer one question at a time, mark questions for review and jump between them on the palette. Your score, a unit-wise table and every explanation appear in this browser. No login is needed.
Before you begin
Pick a paper on the exam page and read its instructions: the number of questions, the marks, the time and what each button does. Tick that you have read them and press Begin. Nothing is timed until then.
The timer
A clock at the top counts down from 60 minutes, or 80 with extra time. The time the test ends is saved in this browser, so the clock keeps running if you reload, switch tabs or close the page, and the test is still there when you come back. At 00:00:00 the test submits itself.
The question palette
You see one question at a time. Save & Next keeps your answer and moves on, Clear Response removes it, and Mark for Review & Next flags the question for a second look; an answered question marked for review is still scored.
The palette lists every question with its state (not visited, not answered, answered, marked for review, or answered and marked) and a count of each. Tap a number to jump to that question.
Extra time
Before you begin you can choose extra time: 80 minutes instead of 60. It is the compensatory time the official exams give candidates with a benchmark disability, 20 minutes for every hour. Anyone may choose it, and your result says which time you had.
Your result, in this browser
Press Submit when you are done; you are asked to confirm and told how many questions are unanswered. The result opens at once: your score, how many answers were correct, wrong or left blank, the time you used, how many times you left the test page, and a table of your score in each unit.
Below it is every question with the option you chose, the correct option and an explanation. The result is worked out and kept in this browser. Try again clears that paper and starts it afresh.
Printing
Print scorecard prints the score, the counts and the unit-wise table on a page of their own; the question-by-question review is left out of the printout.
No login, and what is counted
There is no login and no account. A test in progress and your results are kept in this browser's storage on your device; Clear my data on the exam page removes them all.
We count page views, papers started and submitted (with a score band and the time used), unit practice sets and the Daily 10 opened and finished (with a score band), printed scorecards, papers that failed to load and the speed of the page you landed on; the privacy page lists every field. Your answers and your exact score are never sent.
Privacy: every field that is counted
